As of March 15, 2022, it had approximately 30 million registered customers worldwide. The company was formerly known as Unibet Group plc and changed its name to Kindred Group plc in December 2016. Kindred Group plc was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Sliema, Malta.

History

Kindred Group was formed in 1997, when the Swedish-based Unibet Group plc. acquired patents for gambling software and gaming systems. Starting out as a small betting operator focused on the Nordic area, Unibet has grown to become an internationalon technology, entertainment and innovation. From launching the first-ever online casinos, to being one of the firt operators to go mobile, we have been instrumental in the evolution of online gambling.
