University of North Texas

Founded in 1890, The University of North Texas (UNT) is a public research university in Dallas–Fort Worth. Its main campus is in Denton, with a satellite campus in Frisco and it serves as the flagship of the University of North Texas System, which also includes universities in Dallas and Fort Worth. UNT offers 114 bachelor's, 97 master's, and 39 doctoral programs. 

UNT is designated an Emerging Research University by the State of Texas and is one of four universities supported by the Texas University Fund (TUF). Reportedly created with an initial $3.9 billion endowment, TUF provides $100 million in annual funding to help elevate these institutions into the top tier of national research universities.

The University of North Texas (UNT) has a rich history that dates back to the early 20th century. It was originally established in 1890 as the Texas Normal School, aimed at providing teacher education for North Texas. However, in terms of global rankings, UNT's MBA program may not be listed among the top-tier programs that are typically evaluated by international ranking organizations.
