History

VeraSun Energy was founded by Don Endres in 2005 and was acquired by Valero Energy Corporation in 2009. The company has since become one of the nation’s largest producers of fuel-ethanol and has expanded to serve needs for transportation fuel, feedstock for industrial and petrochemical processes, and fuel for combustible applications.
