History

Verisity was founded in 1998 as NAD Corporation and was a leading provider of model-based verification and test technologies and services to the semiconductor and electronic system design industries. Its headquarters were located in Tel Aviv, Israel and it had development, research and customer support centers around the globe. In 2003, Verisity acquired Design and Reuse, a web-based intellectual property exchange. The company changed its name to Verisity, Ltd. the same year. In 2004, the company and its related intellectual property were acquired by Synopsys, Inc and the company ceased operations.
