Brown, who previously held leadership roles at Univision, ONE World Sports, and Major League Lacrosse, aimed to create a platform that encourages technological solutions to social problems.

The event gained early support from Paul J. Foster, Chairman of WTG and CEO of the Global Esports Federation (GEF). Paul brought experience from his 15 years with the International Olympic Committee and leadership of the GEF, which became a founding partner of WTG.
