History
Xinyi Glass was founded by brothers Chau Chi-ming and Chau Chi-wai in 1988 in Taipei, Taiwan. The enterprise began as a small window factory and today is the largest automotive glass manufacturer in the world. In 1994, Xinyi Glass acquired the Langfang Jinhua Automobile Safety Glass Company, Ltd. and in 2011, the company changed its name to Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited.
