He graduated from Paris Dauphine University in 2001.. equipped with the knowledge and skills that would shape his career trajectory. Shortly thereafter he embarked on a co-founding venture that would demonstrate his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2001 he co-founded 'WY Productions'- a movie production company responsible for the creation of notable films like "Hell" and "Yves Saint Laurent."

In 2006 Yannick Bolloré took a pivotal step by joining his family's conglomerate: the Bolloré group. Here he spearheaded the launch and development of the media division- Bolloré Media- which included TV channels D8 and D17. Within a short span of five years Bolloré Media ascended to become the leading independent French TV Group.
