Yes Bank was founded in 2004 by Rana Kapoor and his associates. It received the banking license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 2006. Initially, Yes Bank was focused on providing long-term financing for corporate and retail customers in India. It started operations from the year 2007 and has since grown to become the country’s fifth largest private sector bank.
