Kevin Yang

Kevin Yang is the CEO and Co-Founder of Serif.ai, a company offering solutions for businesses at a price of $20 per month. He co-founded Serif.ai in July 2023 and has been leading the company for over two years. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Serif.ai focuses on providing peace of mind through advanced AI solutions.
 

Before starting Serif.ai, Kevin co-founded Include.ai in August 2019, a company focused on no-code web automation. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Include.ai was later acquired by Retool in August 2022. 

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Kevin gained valuable experience as a Design Engineer at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he worked on the Applied ML team, developing AI to detect and interpret images. He also had an internship as a Full Stack Engineer at HealthTap, focusing on improving patient adherence to medication.
 

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (AI) from Stanford University, graduating in 2019. During his time at Stanford, he was involved in various projects, including LLMParser, an open-source library for extracting structured data from unstructured text, and EmailTriager, an LLM-based application designed to automatically respond to emails. In 2016, he worked on a project, WhyDB, which used natural language processing to assist in improving patient compliance with medication.
 

Kevin Yang has contributed to several publications, such as the Pearson textbook Exceptional Children: An Introduction to Special Education, where he filmed and edited an introduction video on 3D printing for classrooms. Additionally, he co-authored an article for the National Federation of the Blind about the potential benefits of 3D printing for blind children.

Kevin Yang pursued his academic journey at Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (AI). During his time at Stanford, Kevin focused on Artificial Intelligence, which laid the foundation for his future career in tech entrepreneurship.
 

In 2015, Kevin co-authored an article titled "Future Reflections" for the National Federation of the Blind, where he explored the potential of 3D printing technology for blind students. The article highlighted how 3D printing could provide much-needed tools for blind children, enabling them to access learning materials that were previously difficult to obtain. This early exposure to innovative technology set the stage for Kevin’s passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.

In 2016, Kevin worked on a project called WhyDB during his time at Stanford University, which aimed to use natural language processing (NLP) to help improve patient adherence to medication. The project leveraged NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) and basic NLP techniques to generate relevant reasons for patients to stay compliant with their prescribed medication, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes.
 

By 2017, Kevin took on an internship at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he worked with the Applied ML team. His role involved developing AI models to detect and interpret images, gaining valuable experience in the field of machine learning.
 

After completing his degree, Kevin co-founded Include.ai in 2019. Include.ai was a no-code web automation platform that helped businesses streamline workflows. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Include.ai grew rapidly before being acquired by Retool in 2022, marking a significant milestone in Kevin’s career.
 

In July 2023, Kevin co-founded Serif.ai, where he currently serves as the CEO. Serif.ai provides AI-powered solutions aimed at offering peace of mind for businesses at an affordable price of $20 per month. Under Kevin's leadership, Serif.ai focuses on helping companies implement AI solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Throughout his career, Kevin has been involved in various innovative projects.
