Biography
Kevin Yang pursued his academic journey at Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (AI). During his time at Stanford, Kevin focused on Artificial Intelligence, which laid the foundation for his future career in tech entrepreneurship.
In 2015, Kevin co-authored an article titled "Future Reflections" for the National Federation of the Blind, where he explored the potential of 3D printing technology for blind students. The article highlighted how 3D printing could provide much-needed tools for blind children, enabling them to access learning materials that were previously difficult to obtain. This early exposure to innovative technology set the stage for Kevin’s passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.
In 2016, Kevin worked on a project called WhyDB during his time at Stanford University, which aimed to use natural language processing (NLP) to help improve patient adherence to medication. The project leveraged NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) and basic NLP techniques to generate relevant reasons for patients to stay compliant with their prescribed medication, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes.
