Biography

Nellie Borrero started her career in 1986 as a senior global inclusion and diversity managing director at Accenture. Borrero contributed to the launch of several successful training programmes around the globe, encompassing various areas of diversity. Borrero has contributed to a variety of publications, including Forbes, The Chicago Tribune, Management Consulting Magazine, Diversity Inc., and Black Enterprise Magazine. She has also been a featured guest on National Public Radio (NPR). In 2017, FORTUNE and the Association of Latino Professionals recognised her as one of America's 50 Most Powerful Latinas.

Borrero has received numerous awards, including the 2016 Black Enterprise Top Executives In Corporate Diversity, the 2012 LATINA Style Top 5 Executive Women, and the 2012 Marcus Buckingham Leaders Leading Leaders Award. She is currently on the board of Comprehensive Development, Inc. Borrero received a Bachelor of Arts degree in management and human resources from Lehman College.
