JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) traces its roots back to the establishment of JSS Mahavidyapeetha in 1954 by His Holiness Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, the 23rd pontiff of the Suttur Math. In 1984, JSS Mahavidyapeetha took a monumental step forward in the field of medical education by establishing the JSS Medical College in Mysuru. In 2022, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research witnessed a successful placement season, with 703 undergraduate (UG) and 835 postgraduate (PG) students securing employment opportunities. The institute's focus on enhancing career prospects was evident, with median package offerings reflecting substantial increases compared to the previous year. For UG students, the median package ranged between INR 9.32 LPA and INR 11.12 LPA, marking a nearly 10% increase from 2021. Similarly, PG students experienced a significant boost in median package offerings, ranging between INR 10.08 LPA and INR 10.98 LPA, representing a nearly 13% increase from the previous year.
