Premal Tailor is a Senior Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the founder of TailorMadeTech, a tech-focused content creation channel. At AWS, he works on the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) team, where he led the launch of Amazon Linux 2023, an advanced operating system that enhances security and performance. He earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, specialising in Marketing, Technology Management, and Product Management. During his MBA, he served as VP of Marketing for the Media and Entertainment Club and participated in KTech. He was also a semi-finalist in the Paramount+ Case Competition at the 2021 Pulse Conference.

Premal earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During his time at the university, he participated in various activities, including the Engineering Council and the Indian Student Association, where he honed his leadership and technical skills.

After completing his degree, Premal began his career as an Associate Engineer at ComEd in 2015, working in the Smart Grid & Technology group. His role involved researching grid-enhancing technologies and developing reports to improve power reliability. He later transitioned into project management roles, overseeing high-capital projects, such as replacing over 50,000 feet of underground cable in Chicago. His innovative approach led to the development of training programmes and educational video content for new engineers.

In 2016, Premal founded TailorMadeTech, a content platform focused on simplifying technology for everyday users. His channel quickly grew, amassing over 250,000 followers and over 150 million views across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram Reels. Through this initiative, Premal partnered with leading tech companies, including Apple, Microsoft, and Google, to create informative and engaging content.

In 2020, Premal pursued an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, specialising in Marketing, Technology Management, and Product Management.
