Biography

Tomer Zuker was born in Israel. He pursued higher education in Business Administration and Marketing, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing and Information Systems from the College of Management Academic Studies in 2001. He later completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Excellence in Marketing at the same institution in 2005, where he received the Excellence in Marketing Scholarship Award.

 

Tomer began his professional career in 2000 at Itemfield, a provider of data transformation software later acquired by Informatica. As a Professional Services Specialist, he was responsible for implementing applications, providing technical support for internal and external clients, and developing customer training systems, including documentation and training materials. He also contributed to quality assurance by writing scripts and conducting inspections. Additionally, Tomer participated in pre-sales activities, delivering technical presentations and proofs of concept to potential clients.

 

After his role at Itemfield, Tomer joined Microsoft, where he worked for over 12 years. During his tenure, he held roles such as Product Marketing Manager and Channel Executive, focusing on business development, product marketing, and channel management. His work contributed significantly to Microsoft's growth in Israel and other regions.

 

Tomer then moved to IBM, where he spent over six years leading marketing efforts in the security software and systems sectors. He played a key role in performance marketing, managing cross-functional teams, and executing impactful marketing strategies.

 

In 2019, Tomer joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Head of Partner Marketing for Israel and a member of the AWS EMEA Partner Marketing team. His work included aligning partner marketing efforts with AWS’s business objectives.

 

In 2021, Tomer became Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Kryon, an enterprise automation company. He redefined the company’s marketing strategy, transitioned its narrative from Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to Intelligent Process Excellence, and contributed to Kryon’s acquisition by Nintex. His leadership resulted in significant growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and improved marketing-qualified lead (MQL) pipelines.

 

In 2022, Tomer assumed the role of CMO at OPSWAT, a company specialising in critical infrastructure protection. He led a global team of 40 marketing professionals, developed integrated marketing strategies, and managed a global marketing budget.
