What if the greatest risk of AI is not that machines become more intelligent, but that humans are not prepared to work with them?
We are investing billions in artificial intelligence, building powerful AI agents and transforming entire industries. Yet a fundamental question remains: how do we know that the people using these technologies have the skills, knowledge and ethical judgement to do so responsibly?
As the EU AI Act reshapes organisational responsibilities, AI literacy is becoming more than a training requirement. It is a question of trust, accountability and measurable human capability.
This is why I believe we need an AI ID Passport™: a framework to verify AI competencies, ethical awareness and continuous learning, moving beyond certificates towards demonstrated readiness.
Because the next AI revolution is not just about making machines smarter. It is about making humanity ready.
If we demand accountability from AI systems, shouldn't we also demand proof of competence from the humans using them?
Editorial highlight
How do we prove that people have the skills to work with AI, rather than simply knowing how to use the tools?
As AI adoption accelerates and the EU AI Act reshapes business responsibilities, the AI ID Passport™ introduces a framework for measuring and verifying AI literacy, practical competencies and ethical awareness. From businesses and universities to governments and professionals, it explores why verified human capability is becoming essential in an AI-driven economy.
As AI transforms every industry, could verified AI skills become as important as traditional qualifications?

Why AI Literacy Is No Longer Optional - The Business Impact of the EU AI Act
What happens when AI adoption moves faster than our ability to understand and govern it?
The EU AI Act has reshaped how businesses approach AI literacy, but the July 2026 amendments softened the legal requirements without reducing the risks. From employee training and third-party accountability to AI governance and measurable skills, this article explores why meeting regulatory obligations alone is no longer enough to ensure responsible and effective AI adoption.
As AI becomes embedded across organisations, will businesses focus on simply meeting compliance requirements, or on building a workforce that can genuinely understand, evaluate and use AI responsibly?

Genius. Occultist. Time traveller. Alien. Five centuries after his death, why are we still trying to explain Leonardo da Vinci?
Thousands of pages survive: anatomy, machines, rivers, inventions, observations. Yet behind one of history's most extraordinary minds lies a strange silence. Almost no confession of the man himself.
What did Leonardo fear? Whom did he love? What did he believe? And why did a mind so far ahead of its time leave so much unfinished?
In Leonardo da Vinci: The Genius Mysteries, a AI miniseries, I reopen the case. Created with Wisdomia/MStudios, the video separates myth from evidence and search for the human being hidden behind the legend.
