Dilip Pungliya

Dilip Pungliya, a thought leader, author, investor, and entrepreneur, has brought positive impact to multiple industries with his focus and acumen in data. Dilip has a proven track record in delivering comprehensive solutions for business processes and data optimisation, including data modelling and governance. His expertise spans diverse domains, including investment and commercial banking, oil and gas, and government departments. 

Dilip is the Co-Founder, VP, and Chief Business Officer at ztudium Group, a global leading and maker of 4IR technologies, including Web 3.0, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Metaverse. 

He is also the Business and strategy advisor at Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited, a joint stock company that offers engineering, procurement and construction services for various infrastructure projects across India.

In his experience as a Data Architect, Dilip has held top level executive positions at organisations like Shell, Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, a UK government entity for the environment, Deutsche Bank, ICBC Standard Bank Plc, BNP Paribas, and HSBC Investments.

Dilip holds a BE in Electrical and Electronics and is a certified professional data architect. Aside from his professional achievements, Dilip Pungliya is a committed philanthropist. His active involvement in social work has significantly impacted society, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Dilip was born in Dhorimanna, Barmer, a remote area of Rajasthan, into a family with a successful business and limited company, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd (VPRPL). Family business facilitated his development of expertise from a very young age when he moved due to business in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. 

From his early education, Dilip Pungliya has been a leader in various social initiatives. His journey in technology began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from SSGMCE College part of Amravati University, graduating in May 1997. He continues to make positive contributions to society daily. He is also a Professional certified Architect from The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). 

Dilip started as a Technology Leader at Softsol ENT Pvt. Ltd. in 1999. In 2001, he joined NSEIL/ NSE.IT Limited and learned about Investment banking and data in more detail. At NESS Technologies (India) Ltd, which he joined in June 2004, Dilip honed his skills in team management, planning, coding, designing, and database management for international customers worldwide. 

In 2007, Dilip moved to the UK and joined MRM Worldwide as a Database consultant. In 2008, Dilip started a journey toward significant investment corporate houses, including HSBC Inc, BNP Paribas, ICBC Standard Bank and Deutsche Bank, as an Enterprise Data Architect along with multiple hats for the work in the domain of regulatory, policy-making, Risk (financial and non-financial) and various investment instruments like FX, Derivatives, Fixed Assets, Bonds, Metals etc. 

Post investment after 2021, Dilip tried other industries to expand domain expertise and understand work culture and worked with Shell Plc, an Oil and Gas Company, and DEFRA, a government department focused on the environmental, Flooding, Agricultural and international trade aspects, worked as Solution and data architecture experts and consultant.

One of Dilip's significant roles has been serving as a promoter and technology advisor for his family company, VISHNU PRAKASH R PUNGLIA LIMITED (VPRPL), throughout his career. Since January 2014, he has been instrumental in providing strategic insights and guidance in business transformation, digital strategy, and business development, showcasing his ability to drive strategic change.

During his journey, Dilip has explored startups in fintech, food tech, service tech, data tech, and electrical vehicle domains. His success in these ventures underscores his versatility and adaptability in different industries, which are the building blocks of his achievement.

Since 2023, Dilip has been the Investor, Co-founder, and one of the significant shareholders of ztudium Group, a role that showcases his entrepreneurial skills and experience. The group uses new technologies to build AI-driven solutions, research products, and service platform solutions (Businessabc, Citiesabc, Fashionabc, Sportabc, Techabc, IntelligentHQ, etc.). It also has experience creating proprietary platforms and software products for businesses and governments. 

Dilip Pungliya's ultimate goal is to establish a socially responsible business that prioritises human values such as compassion, fairness, and integrity. He aims to create value for the community by incorporating sustainable and ethical practices into every aspect of the business, from sourcing materials to engaging with customers.
